About Kerridge Stone

Endon Quarry is situated in Kerridge near Macclesfield, Cheshire.

From here we quarry the Milnrow Sandstone laid down in the Carboniferous period. The colour is fawn with some grey.

The Sandstone blocks break easily into flat slabs which make excellent walling stone and is also suitable for cutting by saw.

The large pieces can be used as monoliths and feature stones and quite frequently as a security barrier to prevent unauthorised access to premises.

Rockery stone can be supplied in all sizes from very large pieces to small rocks weighing only a few kilograms.

We supply stone for gabion boxes and can supply small amounts of 6F2 for the construction industry.

We also have inexpensive bulk fill materials.
